In 2014 our team was assigned to design and construct a gathering point for the guests of a vacation villa complex. Kiosk is a cozy shelter from the sun and the rain, that offers a stunning view of the Ionian Archipelago. There the visitors can enjoy their breakfast, prepare their meals, play board games or have a small party. Placing Kiosk on a lower level from the villas’ level and keeping a distance between it and the villas ensures the privacy of the guests.
A framework made from fir wood supports the shed roof and defines the space underneath. Local stone is used for the built-in benches, while their top surfaces are made from forged concrete.
